As guests, you will also be offered the opportunity to serve as "assistant lighthouse keepers" by raising &/or lowering the flag, closing the portholes in the tower, feeding the deer & birds and logging the ships in & out of port.
There are log books and journals around the house where previous guests share their stories and you can add yours.
The friendly staff leaves early in the evening allowing you and the other guests to have the lighthouse to yourselves.
Lighthouse Bed and Breakfast Inn in Two Harbors offers one of the most unique bed and breakfast settings anywhere. The views are spectacular; all three guest rooms have a wonderful view of Lake Superior. You will be greeted with freshly-baked cookies and shown to your antique-furnished room.
